Train
Thornton is just 5 minutes walk from Linlithgow train station (with a stroll along canal bank if you like). Express trains link Linlithgow to Edinburgh & Glasgow every half hour. Frequent services also operate to Stirling and northern destinations.

Directions by car
From Edinburgh and the east leave the M9 at junction 3 and follow the A803 into Linlithgow. The Canal Basin is signposted from the roundabout at the east end of the High Street in Linlithgow. Take the B9080 towards Winchburgh. Pass the garage on the left, house on the right up a lane before a corner and traffic lights.
